Training is organized as a separate Workpackage (WP15) and is coordinated by a Training Board consisting of one participant from each partner organisation. The objective of training provided by NewGeneris is to provide instruction of different forms, focused on the essential issues of the project, with these aims:
- transfer of knowledge, scientific skills and expertise (including standardised and validated methods) to project participants who will be required to practice them:
- transfer of existing and newly achieved knowledge, skills and expertises to other scientists (including students) at the participating Institutes and elsewhere, who can benefit for their professional development:
- exchange of researchers between laboratories to stimulate a culture of integration and team-working across the consortium:
- stimulating mobility and networking experience among young scientists in the field:
- networking with existing training centres within Europe to improve the quality and effectiveness of research and to strengthen collaboration among existing networks.
